Lunch by the Lakeside

Downtown Orlando office tenants have a new place to go to lunch in a spot that’s been empty for a while. Highwoods Properties Inc. this week held the grand opening of 310 Lakeside restaurant in the ground floor of Capital Plaza Two near Lake Eola.

The 8,270-sf space had been vacant since Sam Snead’s, a golf-themed restaurant and bar, closed earlier this year. Highwoods was highly selective about finding a suitable replacement and figures customers of the original 310 Lakeside in Winter Park will like the CBD location. The building owner signed the restaurant to a 10-year lease back in May.

The full-service restaurant will be open every day from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m., offering lunch and dinner as well as a Sunday brunch. The 15-story Capital Plaza Two building is at 301 E. Pine St.
