Robyn Wright, a transaction specialist with Woodyard & Associates in Fort Myers and one of 25 Women of Influence in last month’s issue of Real Estate Florida, died in a traffic incident in Hendry County over the weekend. She was 51.
A report in the Naples Daily News says Robyn and her husband, Ronald Wright, were riding a motorcycle Saturday afternoon when they were hit by an SUV driving south in the northbound lane. An investigation was continuing Monday.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 3595 Broadway Ave. in Fort Myers. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery.
Robyn and I worked together 1996-2000. A finer person I don’t think I’ve ever met. Her and Ronny were the perfect couple and they did such a good and caring job of raising Alex into the responsible young man that he is today. My sincere condolences go out to him. Jim
Robyn was my boss at SW Regional Medical Center from 1985 to the early 1990’s. She was a great person to work for and an even better person to have as a friend. I was very sorry to hear about the accident and send Alex my sincerest sympathies.
Robyn was my aunt, and one of the most beautiful women… inside and out.. that I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Some of my fondest memories as a child are at my Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Robyn’s house. We truly lost two very amazing people that day. To my cousin Alex….I hope you are doing well, I have not seen you aside from the funeral in forever, and everyone in the family is always bragging about you! You are a beautiful reflection of your parents!
All my love, Denise
