In Memoriam: William A. Graham

William A. Graham, a widely recognized Florida business leader who is credited with developing Miami Lakes, died Jan. 17 at age 84. His obituary was highlighted in The Washington Post over the past weekend.

Miami Lakes, one of the nation’s first master-planned communities starting in 1962, originated as a Graham family dairy farm and is one of the youngest incorporated cities in Miami-Dade County. Last month, the Graham Cos. completed an $8-million, 66,000-square-foot class A office building at 7900 Oak Lane in the Governors Square section of Miami Lakes Business Park West.
