Welcome to Commercial Grove, the latest blog by GlobeSt.com offering information and insights on all aspects of commercial real estate in Florida. (We’ll try not to veer too far from that primary mission, as blogs tend to do.)

Why Florida, you may ask? The Sunshine State is one of the nation’s fastest growing and just about every company involved in CRE is already operating here or looking to get in. The same is true for our company: Incisive Media launched Real Estate Florida magazine last year, and earlier this year GlobeSt.com established a Florida page.

Florida is also a focal point of the national real estate scope, especially considering the state’s oft-debated condo/multifamily market. But one sector does not a market make, which is why we will also expand our scope to include office, industrial, retail, hotel and good old raw land.

The best part about this is that YOU, the reader, get to interact with me and everyone else at Incisive Media by leaving your comments in the section below each blog entry. You’re free to express any opinion, and all we ask is that you avoid any swearing or slander.

We realize there are a lot of blogs out there, and time is a valuable commodity, so we want to make what you read here worth your while. Therefore, we’ll stick with Jack Webb-style, “just the facts” details here, with links to more information and a few thoughts of my own, for whatever those are worth.
