A Good Time to Trim Fat

The downturn in the commercial real estate markets has turned out to be a good time to do a lot of things internally, like streamline operations and cut out excesses. For one company in Florida, it also became a good time for employees to lose weight.

That’s what the Orlando regional office of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT did over the past nine months, shedding an aggregate of 360 pounds. The entire team at Maitland Center held weekly weigh-ins, with office manager Patti Porter coordinating the effort.
