Flipping Magazine Pages Online

Wait a minute, Mr. Postman! The latest issue of Real Estate Florida is being delivered strictly online.

That’s right, the magazine you look forward to getting in your traditional mailbox is available only in digital format this time around. All of our issues are accessible online so that’s not new, but this is our first edition that you can flip through and read exclusively on your computer screen.

Highlights of the newest edition include:

• An overview of President Obama’s first 100 days in office, looking at when his efforts to shore up the economic crisis might reach down to commercial real estate in Florida.

• An examination of open-air shopping centers, which are expected to emerge more quickly than traditional malls when the recovery happens.

• A market spotlight of Fort Myers, which is poised for a rebound and is emerging as the state’s fifth big metro market.

There’s plenty to read and scan, and the pages are just as easy to turn on a computer. It’s a first for us, but time will tell whether online will replace print as that debate rages on.

Remember, you can’t always literally hold opportunity in your hands. We welcome your feedback, as always.

(The magazine will be back in its customary print format for the May/June issue.)

I need to hold it in my hands! Hope this is not the final of the printed magazine.

I hate turning pages on an e-mail magazine. Just cannot do it! Do away with turning pages, bullet point the articles!
